The first step is to pay for the car – plus any taxes or storage fees that may apply. You’ll also need to take care of the paperwork, either personally or through a representative. Typically, the auction house will allow you to store your vehicle free of charge – or at a minimum rate – for a certain period of time while you arrange transportation.
